over the winter i had ordered of set of factory wheels chromed with a translucent blue powder coat, some Driven D-Axis rear sets, D-Axis fuel cap, ordered a bunch of gold anodized bolts and screws from pro-bolts, installed a set of headlight shades form tank slapper, 42T supersprox rear sprocket, roaring toyz side mounted plate mount and sent out some parts to get powder coated and anodized.
I also ended up needing a front tire so mounted a ContiSport Attack 2 front, i still have the Q2 in the rear

While I was home I installed my evil swingarm with underbrace. I also installed a new zzz chrome chain and black contrast cut vortex sprocket. I ordered some green brake lines for the front and rear. Got a dry nitrous kit to install at home. Also need to get a bottle bracket for my arm. Should of ordered one when I ordered the arm. Im debating on doing single side swingarm. Didnt ride much. Wind was crazy and some rain.

Dave hopefully had the time to change the plugs in the NA14 today in anticipation of going to the track tomorrow. It's been down with a flu bug for a while now and we're trying to nurse it back to health.

John Miffco did the hugger and yes i like it, my only gripe about it is that on the edges it is a bit thin so over the winter i had to do some slight fiberglass work to it but wasnt a big issue.

Windscreen came in!

Changed out pump for air shifter n it leaks worse, I'm thinking its leaking back into pump, I have all compression fittings but one quick disconnect, can't hear leaking but its happening, sucks, I have a test n tune day tomorrow from 12-5, if I didn't have this lil 6 year ol stressing me out ,lol, I would be out there right now, also I need fibers, when hitting 2nd today it initially slips before fully engaging, put bricks heavy springs n same thing, I'm almost 99% sure the stack will measure too thin, no one in Delaware stocks clutches for these bikes!

Spent the day installing my air shifter on my turbo ZRX1200 ... Next week i got some bling and other goodies coming for the ZX14R .. So the turbo bike goes on the back burner till the ZX14R is all ready for the up coming Man Cup race .. I got most of the crash damage fixed , got a new mid body panel and that took care of most of the rashed up look .. I still need a lower and the grills to finish the job .. Brock sent me a new mid pipe so my Alien head will look brand new again ..

Since i'm going to run ET street i'm going to set the shift light to 10800 and lower may staging RPMs to 4k .. No need to set any records running ET street .. I just want to run the same number every time and not spin a trash a run.. By shifting at 10800 i'll have a little left in the bank if i have to run someone down ..Even with a softer leave and short shifting it should run in the 8.50s .. The bike ran 8.60 flat leaving in second gear..

Did these over the winter and took my first ride yesterday-
Zx10 Front fender
Pulled flys and loaded new map
OSR oil pan
Catalyst seat
Tiger Tail
SpeedohealerV4

Bike is a 2010 zx14
YES, the bike runs cooler with the ZX10 front fender.
YES pulling the flys makes a HUGE difference.
No more scraping the drain plug pulling into driveway
Needed less stress on my elbows (tendonitis) and the catalyst seat really helps by putting me lower in the saddle
No more worries about rubbing thru fender

BTW great site
Bob

In the middle of putting a new crankshaft in one of my ZRX motor's. Found a tooth broke off and sitting in the oil pan. Damage from a busted clutch basket a couple years ago. Also intalling a 6 speed. Should have it running this weekend.

I guess I need to tighten up. Went to the track last Friday and wasted a night ( track didn't hook at all)
I'm going to change the oilnext week and get ready for a et race and 5.90 index class next sat.
Probably need to check stack height since I haven checked it in an 6 months

I spent a good part of the day at forum members' 3000 psi and fallings garage getting new skins for my 14R. If you're in the Denver area PM me for info on great, very affordable service on your machine. I couldn't be happier with the service I received today. Great mechanics like 3000 are few and far between. Thanks for the help James!

James' highly modified red ZX-14 that has shown a few 14R's that he's still in the game!

m4 retro drag slip on.. i had it in the busa and it is really great quality and lite weight and it sounds really good too...you can't beat the price.. the bike has plenty of power so i am ok with slip ons vs.full system..

2013 Metallic Midnight Sapphire Blue ZX-14R in Cebu, Philippines

What I've installed since I got the bike last September:

1. Targa Fender Eliminator
2. Yoshimura No-Cut Frame Sliders
3. TBR Black Series Carbon-Fiber slipons
4. TBR Juice Box Pro Fuel Controller
5. BMC Race Air Filter
6. US version pillion seat cowl and tail piece (Philippine version doesn't include one, comes with a grab handle instead)
7. Zero Gravity Double-Bubble Windscreen
8. Cox Racing Radiator Guard

Gonna install adjustable rearsets and HID lights next. Also installing swingarm spools and removing the center stand (Philippine version has a center stand).

Wasn't "Today" but I did take the 14R to Kawi's "Bike Night in the Daylight" on the 15th for bike week. It's a daily rider, not a show bike, but I like to think the touches here and there make it look pretty sick.
