Average miles for clutch on street bike?

Just replaced the chain and sprockets again after hitting just over 20,000 miles on my 2013. It got me thinking, what is the average clutch life for a strictly street bike? I would say we ride "spirited". I never ride the clutch, I get off of it very quickly when taking off. But I do use the clutch for every shift. I dont feel any signs of slipping or anything like that. But I also dont want it to get to that point. I have a stock clutch with the Brocks clutch mod. What do you guys think? Thank you

I'd describe my riding just as you described yours. I'd estimate that half of my 50,000 miles are highway miles with almost no clutch use but the bike has some urban commuting miles on it too. I have used the clutch hard on several occasions but nothing like drag launches. I believe I have only clutch wheelied a couple times. Tires last me insanely long, so much so that I still find it economical to run soft race tires on the street. I changed my brake pads, chain and sprockets all around 20k like you and the chain and pads needed it.

My clutch has been all stock. I just had my clutch pack out last winter and the fiber pads were down to 25% of specced thickness. I don't know if that equates to 25% more miles. Obviously I don't want to run it down to the steels but it does not slip now so I left them in since I do not put as many miles on the bikes anymore. I'd say, plan on replacing fibers at 50k miles.

Use a set of OEM fiber plates to replace the worn ones. It's doubtful the steels will have any wear but you may need to buy a couple of different thickness to adjust the clutch pack height.

They are in good or like new condition. You are welcome to them if you wanted them. Dont need anything for them other than shipping.

I'd leave the clutch alone till you notice some slippage.
