I've emailed Don Guhl twice to ask about the H2 reflash, no reply so far which is a shame as we have three ECU's which need doing.

You shouldn't have to go through another sponsor to get to the sponsor you need

Thanks for the link. Last word I had from Brock was a few weeks ago when this wasn't offered. I've dealt with him before for parts used on my 14 and rate Brocks Performance highly.

I think he'll be getting my business.

I know Don has had issues receiving emails from the UK, in the past. Never had anything but a great experience dealing with Don....or Brock!!

Well, you wouldn't believe the fun I had getting the ECU out of the bike.

Not taking off the side panels, the screen and slipping the front fairing forward, fiddly and time-consuming though it is. The ECU on our UK bikes is fixed into its sheet-metal cage using tamper-proof bolts.

Not wishing to cause any damage, I had considered drilling them out or drifting the heads round with a small chisel, I loaded the bike onto a van and took it to my Kawasaki dealer who'd kindly offered to help.

A couple of hours later they phoned me and I returned to collect my bike - minus ECU. Not sure how they did it but just grateful for their help and the loan of a van.

So thank you GT Motorcycles, Plymouth, UK. A first class service. My ECU is being shipped off to Brock today.

UPDATE:
The flashed ECU is now back in my bike. Went out for a gentle run this morning to check all was well. Dyno is booked for Thursday morning. More later.
