Hey Johnny!
I would be VERY interested in seeing what the H2 shows on your dyno! Especially so since you have a host of other bikes you have dyno'd for comparison...from mild to wild.

For comparison, what have you seen on a 2012-up 14R and something like a BMW S1000RR?

It has a 1 year warranty, correct?

do you have to break it in a certain way so you dont void the warranty?

I heard there's some kind of data logger or recorder in them that records hours/rpm's stuff like that. Dont know if its true.

If you're not supposed to take it over a certain rpm in the first 500 m iles or something like that. Just wondering.

Looks like the power up top 11.000 drops off slow, I'm thinking there is room up top for more power, and even in stock form it has great over rev, shift at 11k or 11 1/2, or whatever it's gonna pull ! HP just spikes and Tq also, has to be a scary ride, wonder what a H2R would be like?
I think if person had the $ buy a H2R and H2 put h2 plates on the R and ride, or mod the h2.

The H2 is quite low-geared (10,000 = 142mph and 14,000 = 199mph). The power "dropping off" was shown by Don Guhl to be the ECU progressively shutting the fly-by-wire throttle after 10,000 rpm, from 100% down to 32% at the engine rev-limit.

The choices seem to be (1) gear the bike to give it's max speed at 10,000 rpm or (2) get the re-flash, 100% throttle and more power up to the rev-limit.

200bhp is enough to crack 200 mph but gearing it up to do that at 10,000rpm, even if you could get the sprockets, would ruin the acceleration and of course it would still need to have the speed limiter removed so I guess the re-flash wins.

Highly recommend to testride H2, it is real widowmaker. Dynonumbers and how it feels are totally different.
4th gear 120mph easily wheelie just throttle.

Even in 6th gear with just 5k rpm the pick-up is mental. It's very easy to forget just how quick this bike is, especially when running in and keeping to lower rpm and a light throttle. The top end rush you get on a 14 from around 8,000 rpm is there all the way through on the H2, like I said - mental.

Lee any chance KHI told you what the rattle is ? Rattle said to be Normal coming from such a precise planetary gear driven system seems very odd. But if they all do it ?

Johnny can you tell us when does this rattle take place ? Throttle lift or is it random ?

I musta got the only one that DOESN'T rattle. Not one peep of a rattle at ANY rpm.Just smooth great torque and power...scarey fast take offs...especially once she's up around 8k...downshift,punch it(somewhat)...she lifts right up.This bike CAN definitely get a guy killed real quick :o
