Received my letter from Kawasaki UK. They said my H2 should be delivered sometime in March, can't wait. Meanwhile I've been reading the reports from the press launch at the Losail circuit. By all accounts the bike DOES live up to the hype.
Hopefully Don will have his re-flash ready soon and then we'll see what it can do in a standing mile.

Congrats on your purchase! I came close, but wanted more info before dropping that much coin.
I'll be very interested in seeing how it compares to the 14.
Whatever the results are, they will be credible coming from you.
I think the other people on the H2 board are very confused at the difference between the H2 and the H2R. It will surprise me if the H2 (street bike) "destroys" the 14R as they believe it will.
Good luck!

Thanks for the replies guys. Lee I hope you're doing well. Meanwhile, have you seen any of the reports from Losail?

Try these:

This from Superbike mag's John Hogan.

impressive write up.

they'd probably have sold more if they let a few out first.

BobC you must be peeing your pants a little in anticipation of delivery. I know I would !

I think they want to create an air of mystery, a bike that mere mortals can only dream about. They should have just released pictures of it's rear end because that's all most will ever see.

Pee my pants? Well I thought the H2 would be unavailable so didn't get my hopes up. Then my good friend and Kawasaki dealer Mike Grainger told me my name was down for one. Next thing I get the "congratulations" letter from Kawasaki. That's when I nearly peed my pants.

My dealer tells me that he's receiving my H2 plus another H2 and an H2R next Tuesday, March 24th. I'll be there with my camera to take a few shots and hopefully on the road soon after. In the UK they are all sold now and no more available until August at the earliest.

Awesome bike, no doubt, but what do you think of the aeros on it? It just doesn't follow the pattern of a Busa or 14R. Has Kawasaki found a new way of cutting through the air at 200+ mph? I guess we'll know soon ..................

It arrived on the predicted date in the afternoon. I left the dealer doing the pre-delivery inspection and fitting the UK Akrapovc can and collected the bike the following morning, Wednesday. I managed a sixty mile ride that afternoon.

This is a brilliant bike. Even creeping around on cold roads and a light throttle could not hide the fact that this is going to be one quick motorcycle. I love it.

It's not plush, the clutch is heavy and the throttle is very sensitive. Everything you need from this type of machine. :D

Everywhere you look there is evidence of thought and careful design. Pure quality and worth every penny.

The weather has turned again now and the bike's tucked up in my garage waiting for some dry roads.

VERY Cool! The Akrapovic will probably be everyone's first mod. that stock can is possibly worse than a 14r. lol.

and I will admit, while I'm not in the market for one of these; the paint is almost as cool as the supercharger. That's one thing that really sets the bike apart from others. I honestly think I'd rather have the H2 paint on the R bike instead of the carbon fiber.

When's the dyno session?

I weighed the stock can out of interest, it was 9kg, around 20 pounds. The titanium and carbon fiber Akrapovic is light as a feather. A beautiful can, at least one stone in weight saved and 5 bhp gained as well as a better sound. I forgot to say that the supercharger sound is pretty cool too, you could pick out an H2 with your eyes shut.

I'm hoping to get the ECU flash from Guhl Motors, when Don has it figured out. Maybe a dyno session then. First of all I have to get some miles on it and have its first service done. With some decent Spring weather I could get that done in a few days but at the moment the forecast is not good. Here's hoping.........
