I am running out of time maybe. What are you guys thoughts.

Kawasaki must have spent a million or 2 on the h2 line project development. How many units do you think they need to sell to break even.Lets just throw #`s around. Say Kawasaki gets to keep $20,000 out of every h2 they sell.If they sell 25000 bikes for the world that is 500 million bucks minus the expense of producing the bikes..How in the hell can they tell us we only have 3 months from the time they released info to order. We have one of the biggest motorcycle dealers in the country here in the St.Louis Mo. area. They do not have a single h2 or h2r on order. In 2012 when i bought my 14r in july they sold 400 bikes in june. Thats a fucking lot man.
Don`t you think they have already started making parts for the bikes. They are suppose to start shipping in late January or some shit. The Chicago bike show is February 14th weekend.I plan to go see the h2. Would they really go through all that work to lose money on a few hundred bikes world wide.
Remember in 2000 the zx12r listed for 12000 bucks.They lowered the 2001 12r`s to 11000 bucks msrp

I don't think they built this bike to make money. When Volkswagen built the Bugatti Veyron it was to flex their technological might. Even selling them at $1.2 million each ,they lose money on every sale. I think this is the same deal.

How about it Lee, you seemed to have the inside scoop all throughout this process. What are your sources telling you about how many have been ordered?

was at the kawi dealer in billings MT today

they have one H2 on order for a customer

said expected delivery is sometime in march

they will try to get the owner to allow then to display it for a little while. that would be cool.

said the owner will ride it some, not just garage it

Hope to see it in the shop and will certainly have my eyes peeled every time I ride that way

I'm hearing nothing , I have been on the outside looking in just as you guys are ... Kawi has seen fit to gag me and my Kawi insider ..

It's funny , I have most likely sold more zx14s for Kawasaki than any Dealer has ..You would think Kawi would want me in the loop to help them sell H2s ..My guess is Kawi didn't care one bit how many H2s they sold , it was all a chest pumping thing for Kawi ... :dunno:

was talking to my wife today about how for my next zx-14 ( or zx-15 :) ) I'd like to wait to find a KAWI green one.

since the H2 apparently was made with the same goal in mind as the original H2 ( advertising publicity & hype) why didnt they give it a KAWI green paint job so everyone would recognize it right off as a KAWI??

The unique mirror coated black paint and the chirping supercharger should be enough to identify an H2. If that fails the frame is metal flake Kawasai green and the whole bike looks fantastic in strong sunlight. The photos don't do it justice, I guess it's outside the gamut of even the best digital camera.
