Hey guy's,

Just wanted to say hello from western NY. I recently purchased a new 2017 ZX14R that I'm looking forward to drag racing. My other mule is 2001 ZX9R with 5k on the clock purchased last year ( I had to have another 9R after I crashed my last one many moons ago). Again just wanted to say hello. Thanks much!

Thanks Smokin. It looks like you're pretty much the man on this site. I've been reading your drag racing tips. Even though I've raced for 25 years, they look very helpful. First thing I'll probably do is ditch the factory slip ons in favor of some lighter units. I'd appreciate any feedback you may have. Looking for something that's not going to throw to much heat up on me and that's not super loud (I'm 51 -don't need the noise) The bike is mostly street ridden but I plan on taking it to the track as much as I can when it opens. Thanks again!

Thanks all! Smokin, I'll hit you up when I'm ready to purchase. Thanks for the tip, those slip ons are the ones I liked best...
