Hope this works, That is my ZX12R next to the 14. I brought this 00zx12r back to life. It was sitting in a garage for 4years. Simply. Was just parked. The guy's wife told him that when they started having kids, he had to put it away. They started having kids 4 years ago, so there it sat. I had to refurbish the gas tank, install new fuel pump/filter, clean out the fuel system, change oil, rebuild calipers, install new tires, and she fired right up!

This is my first ZX12R. I had a well built ZRX1224R before this. I'm liking the zx, but will say it's a completely different monster. The bike just starts to go into warp speed after 120mph. I do want to help it some with a full exhaust. Maybe drop to a 17 in the front. I'm sure that combo will wake this girl up a bit and drop some unwanted weight i'm sure. I know it's not a 14, but I like the 12. It's still a great bike!!

This is a picture of a good friend of mine, GT Motorcycles owner Mike Grainger on his ZX-12R Stroker.
A prolific +200mph bike which we reckon has posted about two hundred +200mph runs over the years.
Best speed at RAF Woodbridge was 216mph.

I don't have the numbers but It's got an Ohlins rear shock and I think it's been adjusted down a little. Mike is accelerating hard in the photo so it would be squatting too.

This is mine year 2004 zx12r....it's 1427cc and my best speed in one mile is 203.85mph. I use it also in daily riding and that stroker engine is such an enjoyment to ride!!:-)

Here is a pic after making the ride to watch friends run at the Ohio Mile. Note my buddies clean Max also. The old 12 is now sporting a Ryan Schnitz built 1287. 190+ hp and a best of 37 mpg coming back from Ohio...... can't beat that! Still love the 'ol girl but now she has a lot more power to love!

ZX12 is a great looking bike .. I had one in my shop for a long time what was a friend of mine that passed away ... I wanted to keep it but the memory of the owner haunted me a bit ..The bike just left for NC to another friend of his .. I guess it was all for the best ..

I'd still like to have one some day .. :plus1:
