I've been trying to buy this bike off a casual acquaintance for about 15 years. Last night he caved - I'm picking it up this weekend.

1984 Kawi GPz 750 turbo. I know the history of this bike from 1986 on. It's rough but was gone through about 8 years ago. A few dings here and there but comes with a complete spare bike (basket case). The tank on the other bike looks good so between the two I think I'll be able to make it decent looking.

I probably won't get started on this thing til winter if even then. Like i said she's rough - try not to laugh lol.

Allegedly it was the fastest production bike made in 84 and 85. Apparently Jay Gleason turned a 10.7 on a stock one at some point depending on what you read.

It's probably going to be a nightmare to restore but I'm committed now.

Great. You must buy the bike if you want to. The bike had the complete basket case which is good too. But whenever she is good i would recommend you to get its old spare parts replaced so that it can work Properly. I generally use a website which offer the Motorbike parts and accessories online which keeps my bike work flowlessly and I generally buy engine parts and other accessories online from the below link when ever I need. http://www.mc-motoparts.com/foot-pegs/adjustable-footpegs/
