Yep, it's no secret. I'm a Busa guy.
I've had 6 over the years(I think). 3 GENIs and 3 GENIIs.
My first was a 2000 model.
Image
Second was a 2000 model that went thru several changes.
This was the original SLEEPERBUSA.
It made over 250hp thru a stock headpipe with bolt on mufflers, on a small dry shot, of course.

This was SLEEPERII...
Made over 272HP on a dry shot. Again, thru bolt on mufflers.

We had some kind of interuption when the nitrous was activated, but you couldn't feel it, so I never worried about it.

My first GENII was a white 09. LOVED that bike!

Then there was the 2011 that still only has 37 miles on the chassis. It's in pieces tho.

The next day.

I'm building it into a long drag bike.
My current GENII is an 08 model with a 1441cc engine. It makde 225/126 on MR12 and has had my bigass in the 8s on the motor, with stock gearing and a stock clutch, a few times..........FOOT SHIFTING

It has quite abit of trick shit done to it.

I don't have anything against the Hayabusa. Heck, I've got one. Thanks for sharing those pics and details. Good looking bikes and nice examples of the breed. Hopefullly everything will come together and we'll have the turbo up and running again soon.

I like the Green and Silver 08. How do they compare to the 14?

Shit, stock to stock they don't compare. I am Suzuki all the way to the bone, but I have to tell the truth.
In stock form, the 14R is a better bike!
Handles better, accelerates and stops better, lights the road better, is more comfortable, and is a LOT smoother running engine.
The Busa engine is like a big block Chevrolet tho. Easy to work on, has tons of stock replacement and aftermarket parts and support, so as it stands now, the Busa is still the bike to build...........This is just MY $.02.

I'm LOVIN the 14R tho. It keeps getting faster and it's a blast to ride!
