I purchased a rather special Gen 1 Hayabusa last week. It's a 2001 bike which from new was fitted with Ohlins suspension front and rear, complete Brembo brakes front and rear, ( that is master cylinder, calipers and disc rotors) Brembo clutch master cylinder, Marchesini wheels and Harris rearsets. The motor has been blueprinted, gas-flowed, has Yoshi cams, 48mm throttle bodies, Akra Evo 2 system and a whole lot more detail. The bike has been stored for several years and has just 2,700 miles recorded from new.
We changed all the fluids, the tyres, fuel filters and had the injectors cleaned and checked on a flow rig. All seems well and I have a few modifications of my own to do to adapt the bike for LSR next season.

Quick Update:
I went to the final Straightliners LSR meeting of the year at Elvington last week. Originally scheduled for Monday 11th but after a quick head count ,as we all stood about in the rain, we were good to go for the Tuesday.
Tuesday was bright, dry and cold. Good for engines but not so good for people. Anyway the Busa was not LSR prepared in any way, it was just as I bought it - set up for road riding and on stock gearing. It went through the mile at 190.4mph. Several passes were all within 2mph.
Not too bad for a 1299cc Gen 1. It felt fine but I think it was down on power, probably due to being garaged for so many years and unused. Anyway this is all fixable and after some winter mods I hope to emerge next spring with a competitive bike.
