I've been out ramblin' on a trip I called "1.5 weeks and nowhere to go". I logged it on our local forum and want to share a few pics:

I'm going to try and log a trip with no laptop, no iPad, and without a camera, just a phone

As of tomorrow its on to my daughter's in GA, moms in SC, TN/NC mountains, designer Billy Reid's place, and anywhere it may look interesting within that book on the seat within the Southeast

Now we are into the nc bbq, with both white and red slaw. Another no carb delicacy!

Didn't take many pics here but if you're ever in Nashville STRONGLY suggest the country music hall of fame whether you like country or not

More friends and relatives, but again messed around a bit too.

Image

Tin Lizzy lounge, highly suggest. FRied fresh Mississippi cat fish to die for, homemade greens and slaw. I don;t eat the carbs but the southern hush puppies looked great.

Image

Taking a break -the front porch where Elvis grew up. Tupelo, Mississippi

Image

Had dinner with Sheila at Silver Star Casino

Great times. Next is rural roads all the way to Dothan Alabama for coffee with jamie and ronda if one or both will meet me spur of the moment

Crossed Alabama all rural roads. And of course flat tracked some dusty dixie roads.

My bike would look different in this pic had i found a 1200GS button. I'll have an adv bike in the garage soon!

2759 miles and I decided to bring it home. Matter of fact after all day in the saddle I did all night in the saddle and got in at about 5:30 AM. Incredible trip.

Next real trip soon will be 3 weeks off and a ride out west spending time with family again along the way Image

Thanks! I don't eat carbs at all. I load up "all I can eat" on meats but leave the breads and potatoes alone. The weight falls off :bigthumb:
