Sorry Steve. That is a stock photo to get the thread going. I bought my first Kawasaki after riding brand X's for the past 30 years. Last March I saw online what they had done with the new ZX14R and bought one. It's a great ride! I am more of a sport touring rider than anything else and have my bike set up for that. I do hope to take it to the strip sometime in the near future. How is it going with your ride?

Mike,
That sure is pretty. Also about as sporty a touring bike as you will find
The concours is a beautiful bike though.
Best,
Phil

Impending doom, minutes before caught in a monsoon out in the wild west. No cover for miles, no escape. The Concours prevailed Image

My 2012. Added the trunk, Throttlemeister, and Two Brothers pipe.
This bike replaced my 2008 C14 which met its match in a dump truck a few years back.

That is a Corbin seat Lee. It's two piece and the trunk is Corbin also, the Smuggler. 8-)

For what its worth....screw Corbin!

Worst customer service I have ran into in the motorcycle industry. Paid $1000 for their trunk and the lid wouldn't latch, the gaps were all off, they told me to adjust it and if that didn't work to just send it back at my cost. This is a big trunk and cost $130ish to ship to me in the first place. All and all just a horrible experience dealing with them. People say they use to be good, but the company changed hands and now I haven't heard a good thing about them in a long time.

Picked up a 2010 this week non=abs with 7000 miles. Already has a few accessories I would have bought if I got a new one. Givi top box, bar risers, and a full exhaust system with PCV and fly's out. Only got a short drive on it because the weather still sucks up here.
Here it is when the guy took pictures last fall.

Beautiful. I have a blue 2010 C14 as well.

Same Area-P exhaust is going on in hopefully a couple weeks;).

Looks great!

Have always been interested in a concours but I have a bad vertebrae in my back and I need to have a forward lean to be able to ride. Can you put zx14 style clipons on it? They way it is now, from the test rides I have taken ,I'll never be able to own one.

Was easier to make the14 like the concours than the other way around so I did.

That's nice, I've had both bike's and they seem distinctly different. For example, on my zx14 I couldn't expect shaft drive, 47 mpg (225-250 miles between stops on trips), rear rack support to hold a 55 litre trunk with 35 pound weight in it, big windshield, and a several other things. On the flip side, I could never expect my C14 to perform anywhere close to the zx14.
