I have heard a rumor of the 14r motor in the next concours! not sure if it's true but the BMW sport tourer with the 6 cylinder is making alot more hp then the current concours. I would trade my 14r for a concours tomorrow if I could. My son wants to start gokart racing and my track time will be far and few if I get him one. And my wife and I are talking of doing some weekend trips on the bike. and how much fun would it be to go to my local tracks and bracket race the concours and win some money. :D

Yeah, eventually they'll run out of "plain old school 14 motors" and it'll be cheaper to run the production engine. But again it'll be toned down for the sport touring torque down low and max gas mileage between stops...

Not that we can't tweak that or such but it may be painful if they use a different air/fuel delivery system or such

Even if the take it down to 160 or 170 hp that would be one bad bike!
