On the upside, looks like plenty of room to hide the turbo ............

Wow ...I went out for a short ride tonight and all can say is wow this bike in nice ...It's funny but the bike feels more nimble that my ZX14R .. I know it can't be because it's much heavier that my ZX14R .. The bike is super smooth .. It's got so many toys and buttons it is going to take me a while to figure them all out .. The bike has built in tire PSI gauges so you can read your tire PSI on the fly ...How cool is that ...One thing I have to get is a back rest for the wife , I'm worried she will fly off the back when I go wide open throttle  I'm going to have a blast with this bike ...

From the other thread......

"Congratulations Lee..... I am going to look at one later today.....(Saturday morning) The way I figure...it wil get ridden more than any bike I own....probably by a long shot. Steve kills me with his ride reports and pictures. My friend ( and customer ) has 80,000 plus on his too..... :vroom:

Really liking this bike ... Guhl has a flash for the ECU that removes the 154 MPH limiter and add like 30 foot pounds of TQ down low ... It goes from 60 or so foot pounds to 90 foot pounds ..

Since I had to take a loan out for the bike they wanted insurance coverage ..I got full coverage for 295.00 a year and 5000 extra for any mods I might get .. I also got gap insurance for 4 bucks a month to cover the hole loan ... Just in case .. I got the bike cheaper than I paid for my ZX14R !!!!!! My credit score was good I got a killer rate on the loan .. Much better than I could get with my Kawasaki Card ...There were some rebates and they didn't charge me setup and shipping costs ..You know all that stuff they always try to stick you with .. :fishslap:

I would be keeping my black 14, so I'd rather not have another black bike.

Gen1 ZX-14 exhausts bolt right up from the headers back.
;)

Besides the side bags the only thing I miss is the centerstand.
The Concours site had a dude named Fretka that turbo'ed his and did a good write-up on it.

Warning; some of those guys on the COG site would argue the patterns of paint drying on a pole.
Just sayin'

I think mine is the only turbo'ed C14 still running without blowing the engine and none was/is quicker. Lew
